As an surgeon I always wish to be able to use the best equipment. Of course, these devices have to fit into an integrated setting. This means that the fact that a system is manufacturer-independent plays a major role in ensuring that we can focus on the best procurements and the use of the most suitable equipment.ee
Innovation lives on small, creative suppliers! The medical technology network of the future is a platform; any compatible devices and systems can communicate with each other, completely independent of their respective manufacturers ...

SDC is standard.
Since 15.01.2019 the last partial standard (IEEE 11073-20701) is now also available. As a “glue” standard, it now creates the link between the standard for web service-based communication of various medical devices (ISO/IEEE 11073-20702) and the data model supporting syntactic interoperability (IEEE 11073-10207). More information can be found in the IEEE press releases. We are looking forward to new exciting applications and to the fact that soon manufacturer-independent devices in hospitals can be networked with each other!
Ready to Run SDC!
Why SDC benefits clinical staff?
For the clinician, manufacturer-independent, simplified device operation, increased flexibility in the selection of technical systems and devices, and the merging of information – where it is needed – are of crucial importance.
For hospital operators
Why SDC benefits hospital operators?
With SDC, the hospital operator gains flexibility and thus technical and economic independence for the procurement of medical devices and medical IT solutions . SDC is also made for your clinic and your OR. SDC is made for your future.
Why SDC benefits companies?
Through the SDC standards, each device uses uniform interfaces and uniform communication protocol. This significantly reduces implementation effort and enables SMBs to enter the market.
