The project was divided into technical subprojects (TP), which in turn were divided into causally connected work packages (AP). Both TPs and APs could be processed concurrently, had dependencies or interacted with each other.
Each subproject and the work packages had leaders and deputies who were responsible for the respective TPs and APs and reported to the steering committee and the overall consortium. The figure above shows a summary of the subprojects and the interrelationships of the corresponding contents and results.
Project Duration: 2012 – 2016
In the OR.NET project, providers of integrated operating theatres worked together from 2012 to 2016 with manufacturers of medical products such as medical devices and medical technology components as well as (IT) service providers and software manufacturers. They were supported by numerous research institutes and clinics. Clinical partners include specialized clinics as well as hospital IT departments and equipment operators in the project.
In order to make the project results known throughout Germany and beyond, the OR.NET project played an active role in standardization and was supported by the relevant committees and regulatory bodies. The following partners actively promoted the OR.NET project and are supported by other associated partners.
