SDC will be the deciding factor.

During a two-day workshop of BG Kliniken and OR.NET e.V. as well as numerous industry partners, the open, dynamic networking with SDC-capable devices could be experienced at the demonstrator. On the part of BG Kliniken, medical technicians, clinic IT, commercial as well as medical management, physicians and nurses from all locations informed themselves about and discussed the developments of SDC intraoperability and clinical applications. The exchange was forward-looking for all sides: OR.NET, industry, clinic and operator.

It quickly became clear that users and medical technology in particular would like to see SDC networking implemented as quickly as possible, but still see a need for further development to ensure reliable operation in the clinics. The added value of integration and intelligent applications is clear to everyone. All clinical stakeholders want to take the first step via the tender and see it as the prelude to a growing system in the OR and ICUs.

The conclusion from BG Kliniken and the industry partners: “SDC will be the deciding factor.”
