Dear IEEE 11073 SDC enthusiasts,

It’s that time again: The DMEA in Berlin will take place. From 24.04. to 26.04. 2022 OR.NET e.V. will exhibit in hall 3.2 D115. This year our booth is easily recognizable from the outside, but in terms of content we offer new topics and focal points. The focus of our booth is on the industry, which now shows first projects, cross-company joint projects and devices where SDC opens new possibilities. Other topics include the current standardization and approval of networked medical technology.

We also invite you to join us for a networking beer at our booth on April 27 in the evening. Please take note of the current Corona editions of the DMEA. In Berlin, most of the corona measures have been lifted. Nevertheless, Messe Berlin recommends that all trade fair participants wear mouth/nose coverings and adhere to hygiene measures to protect themselves from infection.

Not to forget our OR.NET e.V. espresso bar in the middle of our booth, where we will be happy to welcome you for a coffee and an interesting conversation during the fair hours.

Lectures at the booth

We will present daily changing lectures around the topic SDC and open networking of medical technology at the booth:

• Introduction to open networking of medical technology in the OR and hospital (ISO/IEEE 11073 SDC).
• Networking in the operating room: opportunities, risks and benefits from the user and operator perspective
• Standardization and current state of the art
• Conformity assessment and certification of medical devices
• The SDC vision goes further – presentation of individual industry projects

Presentations will take place daily in blocks. On all days of the show, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., exhibitors will present their projects in short talks. In addition, all days will have a presentation slot from 14:15 to 14:45. On Tuesday the 26.04 and Wednesday the 27.04 further lectures are planned in the period from 16:00 o’clock to 17:00 o’clock.
