Invited session on device interoperability
Medica 2015 I Düsseldorf
The OR.NET partners Söring, Möller-Wedel, and a specific application from neurosurgery, were shown in Hall 11, booth J39 on how the different medical devices can be operated via a common user interface. Söring, together with Möller, has developed such a solution, and Steute Meditec has supported this project – as a practical example of the interoperability of medical devices. By switching the operating system of the surgical microscope, which can control up to 14 functions, can be used for the operation of the bone cutter. This improves the ergonomics and facilitates the combination of surgical devices and imaging.

Cebit 2014 | Hannover
10-14.03.2014
The partner, the University of Rostock, will present the results of the project OR.NET at this year’s Cebit.
As part of the regular participation at the stand of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and long-term work in the field of DPWS, the University of Rostock is showing a continuation of the work presented in December at the development kick-off in Lübeck.
An endoscopy device from Storz is shown, as part of an endoscopic workstation, which is interoperable via DPWS and thus has been extended by Plug’n’Play functionality. The functionality of the workplace is displayed and monitored via a dashboard and can also be controlled. In addition to the endoscopy functionality, vital parameters such as oxygen saturation and pulse are also displayed. The interoperable endoscopy workstation was developed in close collaboration with the company Karl Storz and PD Dr. Wagner from the Klinikum Südstadt Rostock.
The University of Rostock is pleased to welcome you to its Stand “Community Stand in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern” in Hall 9 Stand A09.
